Once re open we hope to provide an enjoyable breakfast experience depending on circumstances. Sadly we cannot second guess the future.

Our breakfast times are flexible to suit you, late starters always welcome as holiday breaks should be about relaxing and taking a break from workday routine. 10 am is no problem and past guests have been appreciative of the laid back regime.  If the mornings are sunny guests can even take their breakfasts outside to take in the view.

Guests can always enjoy a choice of cereals, pastries, muesli, juices with fruits* and yoghurt* subject to availability.  Our full English breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, baked beans, with toast, tea and filter coffee.

Oatmeal, gluten free, and vegetarian options are available on request.

Guests with allergies are advised to notify us upon arrival.

A new addition to our restaurant area is our 10 ft oak refectory table and 8 oak carved chairs which create an ideal ambiance for larger parties booking several rooms but wishing to breakfast together in style.

Guests can choose the variety of fayre offered in Axminster or Chard 2.5 / 3 miles away approx. Local pubs include Ye Olde Poppe Inn towards Chard and Tytherleigh Arms restaurant.  Axminster has The George pub and restaurant and the coastal resorts of Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth offer other alternatives with fresh locally caught fish and shellfish.  A car is however advised.
